Giulio LNT

You probably heard from this italy guy called Giulio LNT because of his track "Hello, Chicago", which is or was in the top 10 of beatports tech-house charts for quite a long time.

In this track he uses Suzanne Vegas melody of "Tom's Diner", which the Bingo Players sampled aswell. Giulio instead, just used the melody and changed it into a whistling.

Although I really like this track, I actually wanted to write about another one. It's called "Hernandos Hideaway" and is a less popular track from Giulio LNT. I really like the sombrero, mexican flavour of the music and the vocals. It's very techy with nice passages of accapella and a bit of a ratchet!

Round Table Knights MTP031

I'm was very when I saw that the next release on Made To Play will be another Round Table Knights EP. After their very succesfull Calypso EP, here comes "Cut To The Top" featuring the Gospel/Folk singer Reverend Beat-Man. I actually like the track, but would be happier with a dub version, without the vocals. I'm more interested in the second track of the EP, called "Stomper", which is way better than Cut To The Top. But have a listen on your own to this again, balkan touched, but nice track. It will be released on July, 19th on Made To Play.

Throwback EP

Texas's Dubbel Dutch finally released their second EP "Throwback" on Palms Out. It was played and loved by Djs all over the world, and is now available on beatport.

I really like their UK Funky, House style. My favorite track of the EP is "Throwback" with it's nice cutted, female diva vocals. But I highly recommend the whole EP.

You Freaky Mother Fucker

Some new stuff from these two brothers from New Zealand. They teamed up with their friend Tom Lawson and made this great Bootleg of Moodymann's classic track "Freaky Mother Fucker". Some smooth minimal house track we've got here. I like it a lot!
