Senta Remixes EP

After French Fries banging original track "Senta", now the Remixes EP is released on Young Gunz. With the likes of Bambounou, Chaos in the CBD, MadKids, Jean Nipon and MR R.I.V.E.R.

I actually love the Chaos in the CBD and the Bambounou Remix! With a tropical touch and nice percussions they made a smooth tech-house tune out of the original.

You can buy and listen to the EP HERE!

Bonus: Dirty Beats - Alone In The Jungle (French Fries Remix)

Marcel Dettmann

Berlin's Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann released his debut LP "Dettmann" on April, 26th on the label OstGut Ton and he really did a great job. He managed to produce a really riveting deep techno LP, in which every track is strictly consistent from the beginning to the end, without getting boring! He combines something between techno, deep techno and even a bit dubstep.

I've got 2 tracks of the LP here. My favorite one called "Argon" which is clearly influenced by some dubstep and with it's hard bass it really blows me away. The second one is a nice techno track, underlaid with some deep sax sounds, called "Viscous".

You should have a listen to the whole LP and get an idea of it yourself! Buy it HERE!

Night Skankers

Because L-Vis 1990 is going to play in Munich this friday, I watched some videos of him live, on YouTube. And after a while I came across this video:

I heard this Track he was playing and just had to find it. After a little research, I found out that it's from a guy called Lil Silva, who makes nice UK Funky and Dubstep. The track is called "Night Skankers" and is the next release on Bok Bok's & L-Vis 1990's Label Night Slugs, dropping at the end of this month!

So keep your eyes open for this guy and this mega track!

You can hear a preview of it hear on Lil Silva's MySpace.

Introducing: Milt Mortez

The first track i heard from Milt Mortez was in the Crookers Micromix #6 without knowing it. It was his track "Pluto" and I really liked it! Though I had no idea who made it, because there were no tracklist! But some hours later, I read the tracklist of Neoteric's Turned On Complitation (i posted it yesterday), in which I found a track called "Pluto" from Milt Mortez. And yes, there it was! I really like the vocals and the bleeps in this track, and all his other work is great, too! He combines electro, tech-house and techno in a really nice way.

I've got 2 track here for you, which he gives away for free. The first one is called "Lungisani", a tech-house / electro track, which includes a nice sample of singing african kids, and great drums. The second one is called "Rhino Run", in which he puts lots of nice bongo bongs :). so listen and enjoy:

Milt Mortez - Lungisani

Milt Mortez - Rhino Run

Here you can listen to "Pluto"! I love this track, did is say this before?

Pluto by Milt Mortez

Be sure, it won't take a long time and this guy will get a lot of attention in 2010!

show him some love on soundcloud and myspace!

Phil D'bit & Sebastiano Sedda

Phil d'bit &
Sebastiano Sedda are a Dj Duo from Verona, Italy, who make nice deep minimal-techno. In my opinion they've got great production skills, and i wonder why I've never heard anything from them before.

I first got my eye on them,
when I saw Riva Starr playing their track "Housetralopiteco" in this YouTube Video.

On his Facebook, Riva Starr said, this would be one of the next releases on his Label
"Snatch! Records". So I wrote an mail to Phil d'Bit, who told me that it probably drops in 2-3 months. Damn, thats nice! I really like the track!

Phil d'bit & Sebastiano Sedda also released an nice Album on "Traxacid Records" some weeks ago, called "Two Years of Minimal Life". Listen to a snippet of it HERE! and if you like it (like me) go and buy it on Beatport.

You can also show some respect on their MySpace.

Cheers,

Bonus:
Phil D'bit, Sebastiano Seddo & Antony May - Pheek Method (Original Mix)

You've got some Homework to do...

Netherlands Dj Duo Homework has made a new mixtape called "The Laughing Heart Mixtape", full of nice and smooth tech-house and minimal tracks. But more interesting for me is the snippet for their awesome, but unreleased track "Fissa Tune". Hear both tracks on soundcloud:

The Laughing Heart Mixtape (Mixed By Homework) by Homework

Fissa Tune (snippet) by Homework

I also got a nice Set Rip from "Fissa Tune" here for you, where you can hear the second (and nicer) part of the track, which isn't included in the snippet! You've probably heard it in the YouTube Video of Brodinski at the WMC.

Homework - Fissa Tune (Set Rip)
good quality!

I'm really looking forward to this release and be sure these guys will make some big trouble in 2010!

gypsy sound is really making crowds go nuts!

Belocca & Soneec - Bla Bla (Martijn ten Velden Remix)

I first heard
Belocca & Soneec's Original Track "Bla Bla" in Camel's Fabric Mix some weeks ago, and i must say, i didn't liked it or lets say I just thougt it wasn't that special. But after hearing the Martijn ten Velden Remix of "Bla Bla" in Solo's Fabric Mix (in which, for some reason the track is called "J.Jackson - What's that?"), i just loved it. (Its also in the new LA Riots Spring Mixtape, which i will post tomorrow)

Martijn ten Velden
turns the song into a groovier, jazzy influenced tech-house track, without messing around to much with the original.

The remix is released May, 23th on Stealth Records. You can pre-listen to it here:

Belocca & Soneec - Blabla (Martijn ten Velden Remix) by Stealth Records

support this guy and buy his remix on beatport when its released.

cheers,

Bonus:

Belloca & Soneec - Bla Bla (Muzzaik Remix)
